Through written materials, assignments and extensive discussion this four-week course will help you with your questions on how to get started in selling your fine art photography. Bev Pettit is
a successful fine art artist and will personally guide you.
There will be lots of Q&A discussion with Bev to help you find your way with your work. Discussions will take place online in our discussion forum format. Everything is online and available 24/7
to work with your schedule. If you want to take your photography in a fine art direction then this class is for you.
We'll talk about what Fine Art Photography really is, and isn't. You'll receive a resource list for where to go from here as well as sample forms that you can use as guidelines for your own business situations.
Throughout the course we will talk about practical artistic and business aspects such as:

- Wrapping it all up
There will be three exercises that you will turn in and plenty of opportunity to ask questions about your own work and situations that you may be having difficulty with. The Q&A forum will be open to all students. Discussion about class topics is highly encouraged amongst the group.
- The only requirement for this class is a burning desire to start selling your fine art photos.
Bev Pettit has been a fine art photographer for 21 years. Her images have been published in books and magazines throughout the world. She has received numerous awards for her images
and is currently represented by fine art galleries such as The Phippen Museum, Prescott, AZ; Xanadu Gallery, Scottsdale, AZ; Jenny Longhorn, Prescott, AZ; and Primary Elements Gallery, Cannon Beach, Oregon.
Her photographs have been seen in Cowboys & Indians, Arizona Highways, Photoshop User, South African
Sport Horse, Back in the Saddle, Sweden's Lucky Rider, Lenswork,
Black and White Magazine, Business Traveller Asia to name a few. Her fine art prints grace the walls of private collectors worldwide.
Though Bev specializes in equine photography she is also known for her landscape work. A Minnesota native she now lives on a small ranch in Northern Arizona with her
family and their five horses. Bev enjoys photographing “out her back door” and on horseback. She has a full digital studio in her home and does all of her own fine art
printing on an Epson 7900 large format printer.
As a dedicated photo educator, Bev enjoys helping her students learn and gives special attention to each individual's personal situation. She is hands-on when it comes to teaching and
giving assignments. Her teaching style is straight-forward and she encourages student questions and participation in all lessons.
In addition to teaching at LearnToTakePhotos.com Bev has held group and private photography workshops and has judged a number of international art photography competitions.
HOW IT WORKS

- This course includes four lessons in PDF format. You will have tone week to work the assignments.
- After completing each assignment you will upload it to the website.
- Your instructor will review your assignment and offer constructive comments.
- You can ask questions and discuss ideas with your teacher and classmates.

Bev earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Minnesota, graduating cum laude in Art Education. After college Bev worked in fine art, technical and art education positions with a stint in teaching photography at a community college in California. Her work has received numerous awards and has been published extensively both in the US and internationally.
